Vigneron is the French term for winemaker and, much like terroir, is a winemaking philosophy. Our Vigneron, Eric Taylor, crafts this as his own pre-ferred blend evoking a strong sense of Old World characters from our native Norton grape. It is only crafted in small quantities in the best of vintages.
The 2021 Vigneron is a blend of 75% Norton with 25% Chambourcin and is aged for 22 months in 30% new French oak. Drink 2026-2031.
