Oak Crest Vineyards contains old vines planted by one of the original Italian-Immigrant families in the Rosati area. It was acquired in 2016 by the new owner, Chris Wright, who is trying to rejuvenate the historic vineyard. The block of Norton was planted in the early 1980s and produces smaller yields of exceptionally concentrated fruit. The 2020 Oak Crest Norton was aged in 30% new French Oak for a period of 20 months before bottling without filtration.
